Our thanks to Karin Pope for sharing this image of her latest quilt. It's a striking illustration of what can happen when you apply a different colour palette to a familiar design, in this case Helen Howes' Enchanted Forest.
Karin based her interpretation on our Scandinavia, which partially accounts for the variety of shades in her quilt. She has played with the textures to great effect: by reversing the weaves, she has effectively doubled the number of tones available to her.
