What joy to learn that one of our customers, Lynda Jackson, won Best of World for her magnificent Silver Linings quilt at World Quilt New England! Lynda runs Capricorn Quilting, a longarm quilting service based in Sheffield, UK.
It's quilted totally freehand on my Handi Quilter longarm (no computers) and designed by me. The fabric is Radiance, a silk/cotton mix which is unfortunately no longer available.
If you're stateside, you could be in for a treat. Silver Linings will now go on show at Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza (13-16 September), Pacific International Quilt Festival (11-14 October) and finally World Quilt Florida (31 January - 2 February) before returning to the UK in February 2019.
With classic understatement, Lynda tells us:
It also took best of show recently at Sandown, (together with a few more) so it's a piece I'm very proud of.
Many congratulations, Lynda!
(By the way, we can't wait to see what you'll make with our Oakshotts!)

Elegant and classic. Congratulations!
